Our Team

We find it most rewarding to watch as someone's teeth and jaws gradually shift into alignment while improving their self-esteem and increasing their sense of well-being. Our distinguished "Patient Manager" system allows us to closely monitor the progress of each patient's progress, throughout their treatment, from beginning to end, to allow for optimal results. Each one of us is here to motivate, answer questions and help each patient through their orthodontic phases.

Samantha

Treatment Coordinator / Office Manager

Samantha is Dr. Smith's Treatment Coordinator and Office Manager. She joined Dr. Smith's orthodontic team in 2007 after moving from her hometown of Bellingham, WA. She lives with her fiance Taylor in their new home in Buda, TX with their two labradors Aly & Chance. She enjoys spending her time reading, cooking, playing with their dogs, and spending time with family!

Amy

Orthodontic Assistant/Front Office Assistant

Amy joined Dr. Smith's orthodontic team in May, 2009 as an orthodontic assistant and front office assistant. She was born and raised in Austin, TX where she finds happiness supporting and donating her time to her hometown community. Amy attended Westlake High school, and graduated from Baylor University in 2005. She enjoys running, yoga, spending time with friends and family, and traveling.

Holly

Orthodontic Assistant

olly joined Dr. Smith's orthodontic team in June 2009 as an orthodontic assistant. She moved to Austin, TX from Myrtle Beach, SC in October of 2008. She enjoys traveling, spending time with family, and playing with her 6 year old Chihuahua, Princess Lucy.

Jerod

Clinic Bay Manager/Lab Technician

Jerod joined Dr. Smith's team in 2005 and has been Dr. Smith's "right hand man" ever since. He is also the lab technician and is responsible for creating many of our orthodontic appliances and retainers. He grew up in Anna, Texas and moved to Austin in 2002 to attend The University of Texas, where he majored in geography. Jerod enjoys hunting, fishing, and owns his own fishing guide service called Rippin' Lips!

Laurie

Laurie has a passion for people, church, and God. She is truly one of those people who has never met a stranger that she doesn't like. She has an extensive back ground in real estate which brings together her marketing skills with people skills into the perfect position helping to build on the improvement in our office and connect with the valuable people in our community by getting the word out about our awesome practice. Laurie has a deep passion for interior decorating, dancing, and singing, as well as the doctor himself, being the doctor's wife. A little secret about Laurie that most people aren't aware of is her past job performance of singing and dancing with Mickey and Minnie on stage at Walt Disney World in Orlando as she acquired her degree in vocal performance from the University of Central Florida.
